Shopping for jewelry from the convenience of your computer is meant to be a comfortable and easy experience for you. You don’t have to get dressed up or drive anywhere or talk to anyone. You can browse as long as you like and finish when you’re ready. So the steps below will help you in completing your shopping experience with Toni McCarthy BeadWares.
Payment options
We accept checks and credit cards (VISA and MasterCard) and PayPal and personal checks. Email me at orders@beadwares.com with your order and any special requests. I will respond with further instructions. If paying by check your order will be sent when your check clears the bank.
Shipping
- We ship anywhere within United States via the US Postal Service unless otherwise requested.
- Your credit card will not be billed until your order is shipped.
- Shipping is FREE (First Class Mail) for orders of two or more items. Priority Mail and Insurance are extra
First Class Mail shipping fees are as follows:
Orders of $0 - $19.99: $2.50
Orders of $20 - $39.99 $3.50
Orders of $40 - $59.99 $4.50
Orders of $60 - $79.99 $5.50
Orders of $80 and more $6.50
Insurance rates are as follows:
Value $0.01 - $50.00 $1.30
Value $50.01 - $100.00 $2.20
Value over $100 $2.20 plus $1.00 for each $100
or fraction thereof over $100.00 in desired coverage
up to $5000
Priority Mail shipping fees are as follows:
Priority Shipping of one item: Priority Mail (with Insurance up to $50) $7.50
Priority Mail (with Insurance up to $100) $8.50
Priority Mail (with Insurance over $100) $8.50 Plus $1.00 per each $100)
Returns
We want you to be happy with the purchases you make from us. Returns will be taken within 30 days of the shipment date. Exchange or repair is free only in the case of workmanship error. Product must be returned prior to sending replacement. All other returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Custom designs are subject to exchange only, and will be charged the 20% restocking fee.
If it is necessary to return an item, here is how to do it:
- First e-mail us with your concern
- After getting the appropriate shipping address, send the item to us. It must be in the original condition with all parts included. (You may want to insure it.)
- When we receive the returned item, we will check it over and, if applicable, issue credit (for credit card purchases) which will appear on your credit card statement. If you paid by check, you will receive a refund check
- Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable
Custom Orders
We are always happy to create something special for you. If you want us to create a piece of jewelry for you in another color or another size, we can do that. If you have a special occasion (birthday, anniversary, wedding, etc.) that you’d like original jewelry for, we’d be delighted to help you get exactly what will work.
You are always welcome to send us ideas or pictures of what you’d like us to create. We welcome inspiration, but we create all pieces as originals. Direct your inquiries to orders@beadwares.com so we can correspond on the details and costs. The custom designs we create for you are yours forever; they may not be returned.
Jewelry Care Advice
- Always use your clasp when putting jewelry on and off. Rolling them onto or off your wrist or head will weaken the construction and lead to breakage. Usually the bracelet or necklace will have to be reconstructed.
- Beaded jewelry is not meant to be worn in the shower or the pool on a daily basis. Getting something wet accidentally will not usually hurt it, but continual exposure to water will damage it.
- Avoid prolonged contact with shampoos, lotions, and perfumes. They are especially damaging to jewelry that is delicate (pearls, for example).
